I have always been passionate about the landscape, in particular how we move through it, appreciate it and engage with it. I have over 25 years experience in environmental and outdoor education and have been developing story trails for the past 15 years.
My academic background includes a BSc in Environmental Science and Geography, alongside a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I have many years of experience teaching geography and leading field studies in the natural world, complemented by an extensive background in outdoor education as an experienced Mountain Leader.
I am also a qualified NLP Practitioner and hold an enhanced DBS certificate, with safeguarding training. This combination of academic knowledge, teaching expertise and practical outdoor experience underpins my approach to creating engaging, meaningful and accessible experiences that connect people with the natural world.
I have been creating story trails for over 15 years, building on a background in education and field studies. I bring together a unique blend of environmental knowledge, outdoor experience and creative interpretation to create engaging, meaningful connections between people and place.
From bespoke maps and interpretive landscape trails to community engagement projects, my work celebrates the stories, landscapes and people that make each place special.
